Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I place an order?

A: Go to the "Custom Order" page and fill out an order form. If you do not see the 'Custom Order' page it is because I am booked for the time being and have removed the page.

How do I contact you?

A: I don't have a phone or email for business use. I have everything I think you need to know clearly stated on this website: the FAQ page, my 'Menu' page, Order Terms page and on my Instagram.

Where are you located?

A: Ventura County (Camarillo, CA 93010). I don't have a storefront I am licensed to work both from home and out of a rented commercial space. I sell at the Camarillo Farmer's Market most Saturdays and attend occasional pop-ups. The exact location in which you will pick up your order may vary so the address will be shared with you at the time of your order confirmation depending on the pick-up date.

Do you deliver or ship orders?

A: Right now I don't deliver or ship orders.

What is the shelf life and storage of your products?

A: Since we don't use any preservatives, intend to consume your order same-day, or within 24 hours of pick-up (especially cakes, cupcakes and fruit + floral items). Brownies, cookies and rice crispy treats last longer around one-two weeks refrigerated. Almost any item leftover 24 hours after delivery can be wrapped in layers of plastic wrap, placed in an airtight container and put into the freezer for a month or longer.

I'm Vegan or allergic to Gluten/ Dairy / Lactose / Casein / Eggs / Animal By-products. What can I eat?

A: EVERYTHING. Go wild. The MENU page has an allergen key for commonly asked allergens/dietary concerns. We don't use: gluten/wheat, eggs, dairy, animal products or by-products, artificial colors or peanut products in our kitchen. We do however use soy, treenuts, coconuts, sesame or other ingredients you might be sesnitive to in our kitchen and even with the best practices can't 100% guarantee cross contamination won't occur. We will not be held liable for any allergic reactions so please consume at your own descretion or not at all.

Can you make a custom cake that differs from the styles you offer on your website?

A: no; currently I only decorate with frosting color changes, frosting styles, a deorated sugar cookies topper, a message, florals, cherries, gold and whatever else you see on the order form.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

A: Life happens, I get it. Communicating a cancelation 7 days or more in advance may qualify you for a refund (less the non-refundable deposit) OR you can opt for using whatever you have paid already as store credit (if used within the same calendar year, on ONE order, subject to my avilabilty thus NOT guaranteed). Due to the perishable and labor-intensive nature of my products, no refunds or credits will be issued if cancelled less than 7 days before due date as I have already shopped and possibly started prepping for your order. No-shows or people who show up late without communication (in which I have SEEN and RESPONDED TO) will not be refunded and their order will be auctioned off or donated. NO HOLDS, I don't have the space or time to babysit your desserts.

What if I need a last minute order?

A: Short answer is no, I can't accept last minute orders. In the rare case that I can, there will be a $100 rush fee charged to accommodate it.

What about gratuity (tips)?

A: As with any food service, gratuity is ALWAYS appreciated, even if its just a few dollars. BUT if you can't afford it I wholeheartedly understand, these are hard times. Please instead spread the love! I would appreciate your 5 star reviews on my Yelp page, telling your friends/family of my services and tagging/liking/following my Instagram handle @cupmycakez #cupmycakez
